JANUARY OUTING 2009

the first outings of the new year will be on the 11th and 25th of january,meeting at the DRUM TAKEAWAY at 8am,please be carefull on the roads this time of year.

2009 A.G.M/january meeting

2009 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on the 7th January at the clachnaharry inn,inverness 8pm

A.G.M AGENDA:any members with points for discussion or new proposals or ideas for the club please contact Rab Hay.We would like to try and have these on paper before the meeting in the hope of saving time and nothing is forgotten or missed on the night,thanks in advance.

TROPHYS:please could all trophies/shields and spoon be handed back in at the A.G.M so engraving can be done in plenty of time for the presentation night(date still to be confirmed),again many thanks.

SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR:also could all members bring along their vote for sports person of the year,again the same as last year,write your candidates name and a reason for nomination on a piece of paper and pop in a sealed envelope to be handed to Rab Hay at the A.G.M or before if that's possible,again many thanks.

DECEMBER OUTING/venue changed due to freezen.

just a wee reminder as were coming to the end of year,its time to start thinking of nominating sportsman of the year again.please put your choice in a sealed envelope and get them to rab anytime from now to the agm in jan(at the latest) so all engraving can be done in plenty time before our presentation night in feb 09,many thanks.

1st scottish 20 for pac general secretary

well done to mark barrett on his first scottish twenty at 24.14lbs soon followed by his first scottish double.mark and his friend oliver newman enjoyed a couple days fishing in the highlands as well as guesting at our monthly meeting during a weeks stay in scotland."a pleasure fishing with you guys"and your more than welcome back anytime.
on behalf of the club i would like to thank mark for attending our meeting and meeting and fishing with some of our members,not often we get a pac committee member this far north.

well done robbie,a superb 25lb+ fish coming in a busy session including another 20+ and nice doubles.a new member to the club but a dab hand at the fishing.

another great open

thanks to all who attended our open yesterday,the weather was dire and the fishing not much better but all 33 anglers seemed very upbeat after the prize giving and raffle and enjoyed there day.and the camera crew never put any body off,look forward to seeing the dvd in the future.

a big thanks to rab and ewen who put in a lot of hard work to make these days happen and run smoothly,but we did manage to raise a few pound towards the club funds and a promise of a donation from readers digest towards our presentation night.again many thanks to the lovat arms for making us so welcome and use of their facilitys for the raffle etc.

twenty club at last

well done to ian hopkins on his first twenty at 22.08lb but just to confirm he's in the twenty club soon after landed another at 21.04lbs as well as a mid double,great result.

THE ANNUAL PAC CONVENTION

guys,just to let you know,that sandy down in bellshill is running a mini bus down to the pac convention at stoneleigh,warwickshire.we are hoping to fill the mini bus with members from inverness,north lanarkshire and ayrshire regions,the bus will cost £15 return and leaves bellshill at midnight friday 26th september,drive down through the night then spend the day and returning once convention ends.
any one wanting to go please let me know asap so a seat can be booked on bus and place in the car for a lift down to bellshill?
there is some top speakers lined up,lots of trade tackle stalls,second hand stalls.pac mega raffle,awards,competition winners and the live menteith draw and if thats not enough theres a well stocked bar.the crack will be first class so hope to hear from you soon?
