mentieth charity day

WELL DONE to outwith member JIM MORRICE on his new p.b. of 28.08lbs caught on a lure on the pac/paas joint charity day on the lake of mentieth.jim was my boat partner for the event and hooked this cracking specimen with his first ever cast of a bull dawg lure,was a pleasure for me to be ghillie(as usual,ha ha).
A great day out and a good few pounds was raised on the day,our club donation was gratefully received by pac general secretary Graham Slater and thanks were sent to our club and members.

DECEMBER MEETING

will be on THURSDAY 3rd of december,chieftain hotel,millburn road,inverness at 8pm,ALL WELCOME.

CLUB PRODUCTS

we now have a club products range available,hoodies,fleeces,caps,hats,t shirts etc,etc.if you never got a price list at november meeting and would like one give me a shout,i can email or send 1 out by post.

November outing

meeting at the fishery at 8.30am,hope to be out on the water by 9am.


the club is subsidising each member present on the day £10 towards the boat hire costs.

juniors shine at our open

another successful open today,with 30+ anglers turning out for a days fishing,with a very good increase in juniors fishing(after all we want to encourage the future of our sport).not a great deal to mention fish wise but one lucky lad stole the show.a big well done to young luke baker who up on holiday with his parents managed to land himself a new p.b of 11.07lbs(biggest fish of the day)and scoop the junior prize of rod,reel and tackle.well done luke.

BEDCHAIR BAGS

guys,i have a source for good quality heavy duty bedchair bags,these things make life so much easier when trying to carry awkward bedchairs down to the bivvie,and all for the super low price of £5each.anyone interested let me know before 6th nov or at the next meeting as i will be collecting on the 7th november.

november outing

guys,the november outing will be on the sunday 15th.this is a wee venture further south to revisit one of the clubs old venues and is boat only,ALL that can make this trip let RAB,EWEN or MYSELF know as soon as possible,so we can reserve the boats.

i will send more details via emailed newsletter the next day or so and hopefully confirm things?

MEETING REMINDER

guys,just a wee reminder that october meeting is this THURSDAY night at the cheiftain hotel,millburn road,inverness at 8 pm(am sure the footie will be on in the bar for those who dont want to miss it)ALL WELCOME.

also anybody wishing to donate raffle prizes for the up and coming open event can bring them along to the meeting,thanks in advance.

OCTOBER OUTING will be back to the winter rules,basicly meaning we can fish 3 bait rods,fly or lure rod instead of 2 bait rods as we do in the summer.

i am sure dad(club sec)EWEN and granddad(club chairman)RAB are both very proud but not as chuffed as you young fella!again a big well done.

BALTIC TRIP

well guys,i'm back and had a fatastic time loved every minute of it cant wait to get back out there again,wish our club boat looked like the ones out there(ha ha)

my biggest of the trip was 20.14lbs(110 cms long)came on day 2 so made my holiday,just need to catch up with rab and see what i missed at last meeting and get this months outings etc updated.

New lure p.b

had a few days away on holiday last week,but did manage to squeeze in a day out on a boat and was rewarded with this cracking 22.11lbr.my new lure p.b and its got me really excited about my up and coming trip to the baltic in a few weeks time.
