october outing weekender success.

Unfortunately due to other commitments i was gutted to have missed this trip but our annual jaunt down the road proved very good for all those fishing, not just our own members but we were also joined by guests from tayside PAC,glasgow PAC and ayrshire PAC aswell as friends from P.A.A.S and Al Rawlings making the long trip over from Ireland.

Our Caledonian charity shield was also in play for this weekend and was won by Sean Allan,Well done Sean and all that help raise the £200 that will be donated to the macmilan nurse's trust, our way of thanking them for the help they gave fellow member and friend James Lockard in his final weeks.
A lot of fish were caught and with a couple dream fish thrown in for good measure,Saturday couldnt have started any better for Ewen Lyon upping his P.B. to 25.04lbs.
Lots of doubles and jacks also caught over the weekend and another clonker on Sunday by Gus from ayrshire pac weighing in at 25lb 10oz.
Well Done Gus thats a braw fish mate.A big thanks to all that made the weekend a success.

PAC R.O's of the year 2012 award.

September also seen Micky make the long trip south to the PAC convention in Harrogate and collect the R.O.s of the year awards.Unfortunately Rab Hay was overseas on holiday and could not attend.
Above Micky Jones collects his and Rab's awards from PAC general secretary Alan Dudhill.
Micky and Rab would like to thank all our members as these awards are a reflection of all at inverness pike anglers club and the work we do.
