CHANGE OF R.O.s

At our recent a.g.m long standing regional organisers Grant Macleod and James Dyce have stood down but will remain active and key club members.Rab Hay and Micky Jones will fill the vacated roles.The membership would like to thank Grant and James for their years of work involved and bringing the club to the level we are at today,a solid foundation for Rab and myself to build on.Many thanks guys and looking forward to lots more fishing.

PRESENTATION NIGHT

our presentation night will be on FRIDAY 8 FEBRUARY starts 7pm in the FAIRWAYS FUNCTION SUITE,inverness.
this is a bring your partner event,along with presentation of trophys there will be a hot and cold buffet,raffle and disco by pro sound disco,so bring your dancing shoes.
look forward to seeing you all there.

FEBRUARY MEETING

februarys meeting will be on TUESDAY 5th at 8pm at the clachnaharry inn,all welcome.

guys just a wee reminder that wednesday nights meeting is our a.g.m.Could we please bring with us your name and reason for sportsman of the year in a sealed envelope,this will allow rab to get the engraving done so we have the trophies ready for our presentation night.
Club membership fees are due and can now be paid by cheque if so desired.

january meeting will be on 9th JAN,at the clachnaharry inn,8 pm all welcome.
this meeting will also be our AGM,with a lot to discuss so please try to attend and have your say on club events in 2008.

mentieth/venachar weekend.

well guys never got any monsters this time round,had 3 small fish up to 7lb on mentieth and 2 jacks on venachar.must say it was great to meet some of the pac commitee members and i think i have managed to talk a couple into coming up to inverness to do talks/slideshows as well as a bit of fishing?it was a great days fishing with club president phil wakeford and i hope i learned a thing or two?

guys,north lanarkshire ra93 have kindly invited any of us interested in going down to their xmas night bash on friday 14 december at the joker bar in bellshill 7.30pm,gueast speaker will be NEVILLE FICKLING along with buffet,raffles and dare i say one or two beers.sounds like it could be a very good night.if you can get names to me as soon as possible to get an idea of numbers then with sandys help we can get hotels etc booked up.

another great competion day

first off,WELL DONE to member robbie milne for taking first place(scroll to bottom of page for enlarged photo).we had a good turn out,every one enjoyed themselfs the raffle was a big hit as we have come to expect.the weather was maybe to good?was good to see more juniors taking part this time.
a BIG THANKS to rab,ewen and mathew for their work on the boat,again to rab for setting up the raffle and prize giving and overseeing the event runs smoothly,all the members that donated prizes to the raffle,thanks to all who turned up and again the staff at the lovat arms.already looking forward to the next one.
